KS1/2 Nature Detective

Overview: Learn about wildlife identification & classification to become a nature detective!

UK Curriculum Link: Identifying and naming wild plants, fish, amphibians, birds & mammals.

Indoor Session: Your class will become detectives as they are tasked to answer questions about a scene in a Manx Habitat. They will given a collection of evidence which includes ID guides and real signs of wildlife such as bird pellets to help them.

Outdoor Session: Your class will become minibeast detectives as they go on a bug hunt and learn to classify invertebrates by different characteristics. We will then make our own mini bug hotels to put in the school grounds or to take home.
