Overview: Learn all about habitats and the positive and negative impact we can have on habitats in the wild and at home.
Scoillyn Eco/ Eco Schools Link: School Grounds: an introduction to improving School Grounds for students, staff, plants, insects and animals.

UK Curriculum Link: Habitats and how they provide the basic needs of different animals and plants.
Indoor Session: We will learn about different Manx habitats, what lives there, and why. Then we will make mini models of Manx habitats and put them together to make a whole ecosystem.
Outdoor Session: Let's see what wildlife lives in your school grounds as we make mini habitats using all the natural materials we can find. Make sure to go back and check on your habitats over the next few week to see what creatures are living there!
